Ye Shi introduces you to the 'wild history' and beautiful intensity of martial arts movement.

Ye Shi is not a style but a way of introducing the student to the practical essence and deeper intellectual concepts inherent in martial arts. We delve deeply into specific postures and transitions. These are then used as stepping off points for improvisation and gaining insight into how the mind, body and breathe are integrated. We also explore the interrelationship between martial arts and Indian yoga. 

Classes cater for every level from beginner to experienced practitioner. Ye Shi is great for cross-training and supplementing your existing practise. 

Everyone gets individual attention they need and works to their level.
